On November 12, after reading that another cyclist had been seriously injured, I got serious about building this site to publish researches, empirical tests and reasoning for transportation improvements especially for pedestrian, bicycle and bus modes.
I chose the site name because we all just want to "Get Around Town" safely, conveniently, at reasonable cost, without destroying our ecosystem, etc.
The site URL – www.GetAroundTown.org – is appropriate for my role as a citizen advocate.
Your browser's address bar probably shows that I'm temporarly storing this site as a subdomain: getaroundtown.userexperience.us or userexperience.us/GetAroundTown/. For clarity, I shall move "Get Around Town" to its own site.
This web page is a "rough draft in progress" which is presented for purposes of evaluation: please do not copy, quote or cite without permission.
